So one of my goals is to start eating a more balanced diet. I'm a meat fanatic! I feel bad when I serve something without meat to my family, I feel protein is such a major building block that going without it horrible. I will try to make it up by serving some sort of bean, but it just doesn't seem the same. I'm also big on vegetables, mostly the frozen variety. I've been trying to get in more fresh stuff now that the harvest is going on, but it seems to much easier to just grab a can of corn. Fruit on the other hand normally is wrapped in bread, as in a nutrigrain bar. Can I even call that fruit? Again since the harvest has been going on I have been trying to get in more fresh fruit like peaches, nectarines, etc.
