Priorities
This weekend was our local festival, some family and friends competed in a 5K run/walk. I had Karl in his stroller and off we went. A 5K is just over 3 miles. The course was made of different terrains and different elevations. It was a challanging course with a large hill at the end. Our friend Mary, Karl and I took off walking at a brisk speed. It was nice conversation and a good speed. We didn't lack conversation and we finished shortly before the 60 minute mark. It felt great to do this and I wonder why I don't do this more often. I guess it all boils down to priorities. After working full-time, getting super made, can I fit in some exercise before going to bed? Sure I can, but I think I need some sort of commitment. Finding that commitment is the hard part.
